Croxetti is a flat, disc shaped pasta embossed with a traditional Ligurian design. According to legend, the pasta was originally embossed using a medieval coin called a corzetto, which was later replaced by special, hand-carved wooden stamps. During the Renaissance, noble families from Genoa would have their coat of arms stamped into pasta for special occasions. Pasta di Liguria's Croxetti that have a fresh pasta consistency when cooked and are typically served with a creamy walnut or pine nut sauce.

Pasta di Liguria is authentic Italian, certified organic, artisanal pasta made by the Minaglia family from their hometown in Liguria. This region, which boasts both incredible coastlines and the picturesque Apennine mountain range, is home to one of Italy’s oldest pasta making traditions and healthiest local cuisines.
